Barcelona´s Wordly Recognised Architecture

If you look at Barcelona on a map or from a plane, you'll see that the streets form an almost perfect grid, interrupted only by the Diagonal. At the same time, the houses are grouped into blocks. This organisation greatly facilitates orientation, communication and transport within the city.

Gaudí and his heritage, only a part of what you must discover

Barcelona's architecture is so special and unique that it could be considered a great work of art. A stroll through Barcelona is a journey through time because of the many different architectural styles that can be seen in its buildings. One of the most notable architectural movements in Barcelona is Modernisme, with names such as Antoni Gaudí. He is one of the greatest representatives of Modernisme in the world and, more than an architect, he is considered to be a true genius. So much so that seven of his works have been declared World Heritage Sites. His works include some of Barcelona's most famous monuments, such as Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, Sagrada Familia, Casa Vicens and Palau Güell. He is also the author of Park Güell, a 12-hectare park where you can enjoy both architecture and nature.
