The Youngest of the Mediterranean Islands;

The island has been inhabited since 1800 BC, in the Bronze Age, and traces of this have been found in the Archaeological Museum of Ibiza and Formentera.

In the mid-20th century, Ibiza had its splendour, and in 1960 it began its accelerated growth as a tourist centre, thanks to the hippie movement and its great natural attractions. The first hippie communities that settled here found a virgin terrain that suited the ideas of a movement that advocated peace and freedom above all else. All that effervescence was concentrated in what is today Ibiza's cultural atmosphere, open, free, and spectacularly rich and varied. Painters, writers, musicians, architects, photographers, filmmakers, thinkers, and all kinds of artists seek refuge on an island where magic, peace, and joy pervade every corner. As an anecdote, it was so well-known that even Pink Floyd dedicated a song to it.

The island of Ibiza exudes magic from all four sides and holds many secrets that are not accessible to all visitors to the island.
