Ibiza´s Magical Culture

It is easy to disconnect and let yourself be carried away by the magic of its beaches, its paradisiacal coves, its gastronomy, its sunsets, its nature and of course, its partying. All this makes the island a tourist attraction to enjoy as an exclusive destination welcoming visitors from all over the world, which culturally enriches, even more, the essence of the white island.

Anyone who has ever set foot on Ibiza knows the popular saying that there are many ways to experience the island.

It is an island with one of the best-preserved marine ecosystems in the Mediterranean Sea basin. It has four elements that have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. These are the Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta, the necropolis of Puig des Molins, the Dalt Vila site in the capital of Ibiza, and the oceanic Posidonia. But the island is also known worldwide for its parties and nightlife.

Where Sun and Play Meet

In the mid-20th century, Ibiza had its splendour, and in 1960 it began its accelerated growth as a tourist centre, thanks to the hippie movement and its great natural attractions. The first hippie communities that settled here found a virgin terrain that suited the ideas of a movement that advocated peace and freedom above all else. All that effervescence was concentrated in what is today Ibiza's cultural atmosphere, open, free, and spectacularly rich and varied. Las Dalias is probably the most famous flea market in Ibiza, an emblematic hippie-style place that in addition to hosting a multitude of stalls of the most varied handicrafts, is a benchmark in terms of organizing concerts and leisure events.

Ibiza is also world-renowned for its marinas where yachts moor to enjoy the island. The best luxury brands have moored in the port of Marina Botafoch making it a benchmark for luxury shopping. You can enjoy haute cuisine restaurants as well as typical restaurants of the island with traditional food. The beach clubs in summer are enclaves where people take the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere, eat and drink with the best views of unique coves.

However, if you like to enjoy the nightlife, this is your island. Ibiza has the best nightclubs such as Ushuaia, Hï Ibiza, Pacha, and Lio.
